Air Quality Staff
EQ's Air Quality staff have worked in the air pollution field ever since the enactment of the Clean Air Act in 1970. For over 28 years, our senior air quality staff have been involved with every aspect of the air pollution control business while being supported by junior and midlevel staff knowledgeable in the field of air quality management. Our staff have gained their experience through work with industry, State and local agencies, and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. We have developed regulations and regulatory strategies; prepared and reviewed state implementation plans and permit applications; conducted dispersion modeling analyses, compliance audits, and feasibility studies; and designed control systems.
Our Division has over 30 air quality specialists with an average of 18 years of experience. Our staff have degrees in chemical, mechanical, civil, metallurgical, and environmental engineering, meteorology, environmental planning, environmental science, chemistry, and business administration and management. In addition, 18 members of our staff have advanced degrees.
We are familiar with and knowledgeable of the regulatory process at both the State and Federal level. We also are familiar with many industrial processes and have assisted in conducting compliance assistance, permitting, control system design, and dispersion modeling. We have a proven track record with major corporations, and have project and regulatory experience in many states. For all of these reasons, EQ can provide the complete scope of services associated with comprehensive air quality planning and management.
