Environmental Quality Management, Inc. (EQ) is a full-service environmental consulting and engineering firm headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Durham office was established when the company was founded. It has considerable experience serving both the government sector and the industrial sector.

EQ's staff in Durham is comprised of many disciplines and areas of expertise including air quality services (permitting, modeling, and emission inventories), cement industry (air pollution control, process operations, permitting), and other environmental management areas. The Durham staff services our clients needs nationally and globally, with a regional focus in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia.

Community involvement

The Durham office is actively involved in the community both professionally and socially. The office is a member of the Durham Chamber of Commerce, and the local chapter of the Air and Waste Management Association.

Directions From Raleigh-Durham International Airport

  • Take I-40 west to Durham.
  • Exit from I-40 at Highway 15-501 (Exit 270).
  • At the top of the exit, turn right (toward Durham).
  • At the split, bear left to follow Business Highway 15-501
      (Durham-Chapel Hill Boulevard).
  • Go past the South Square Shopping Mall, and take the first exit
       (Highway 751).
  • Turn right on Highway 751.
  • Immediately turn right again onto the Durham-Chapel Hill Blvd. Service Road.
  • Turn left into the second driveway.
  • The parking lot is at the back of the building.
  • EQ is at the end of the parking lot in Suite 250.

Directions From West of Durham

  • Take I-85/I-40 to Durham.

  • At the I-85/I-40 split, follow I-40 east to Durham and Raleigh.
  • Exit from I-40 at Highway 15-501 (Exit 270).
  • At the top of the exit, turn left (toward Durham).
