GIS & Satellite Imagery
The GIS & Satellite Imagery Staff of Environmental Quality Management, Inc. (EQ), have considerable experience utilizing Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing on various projects nationwide.

Remote Sensing
EQ has a complete capability for processing and analyzing remote sensing imagery. Whether satellite imagery or aerial photography, EQ has the resources to perform a wide variety of image processing algorithms for applications such as urban studies, agriculture, transportation, invasive species, air quality, forestry, and mining. We have a specific capability with hyperspectral remote sensing, including instrumentation for developing spectral signatures from field measurements. EQ also has expertise in mission planning for remote sensing imagery acquisition. Not limited to visible/near-IR imagery, EQ also has experience with thermal and imaging radar (SAR) data.
Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
With the increasing availability and popularity of accurate GPS instruments, GIS has become an important technology for many application areas. EQ has resources for all aspects of GIS, including data collection, database design, georeferencing, and modeling. The staff at EQ has university-level experience teaching GIS and aerospace remote sensing and can provide short courses to suit the specific needs of the client.
