Environmental Scientist/Engineer - Pittsburgh (Bridgewater, Beaver Co.)

JOB DESCRIPTION/JOB DUTIES, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE

Qualified candidate will serve as an Environmental Engineer/Scientist in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Office located in Bridgewater (Beaver County) and will provide technical assistance including office and field/plant support with air, water, and waste-related projects.  Candidate must be able to work independently with senior Technical Staff/Project Manager support on longer, more complex projects. 

Field project assistance will include onsite assessment activities at active manufacturing facilities including gap analyses, multimedia sampling, compliance reporting, subcontractor oversight, air monitoring, and source testing. 

BS degree in science or engineering required.  Minimum 5 to 10 years experience in the environmental field with emphasis on environmental compliance and permitting.  Related experience in consulting or engineering a plus. 

Require good writing skills and will include providing assistance with preparation of field monitoring reports, air and wastewater permit applications, compliance reporting, and various marketing activities.  Knowledge and experience with Microsoft software (i.e., WORD, EXCEL and ACCESS) required.  Familiarity with dispersion models, and emission inventory software a plus.  Must be willing to obtain 40-hour HAZWOPER training and occasional travel. 

Passing of pre-employment drug screen and pre-employment physical are required.

Environmental Project Manager - Chicagoland/NW Indiana

National environmental firm is seeking a full-time experienced Environmental Project Manager to lead and support ongoing and new efforts in the Chicagoland/NW Indiana area.
